What is Singlish?
Singlish (not to be confused with Singaporean English) is the romanised phonetic writing system used by Sinhala speakers online when a Sinhala keyboard isn't available. Words are typed using Latin characters that approximate Sinhala pronunciation — for example, kohomada becomes කොහොමද.
This tool provides a complete, rule-based converter — no machine learning, no internet required. Every conversion is deterministic and instant.
